WW-S1E04 “Dissonance Theory” Logan decides to finish the bounty hunt and mocks William for bringing Dolores along. They capture the fugitive, but Logan decides to have a better adventure by taking him to his boss. Meanwhile, the Man in Black, accompanied by Lawrence, is hunting snakes and finds Armistice with her snake tattoo. He breaks Escaton out of prison for her, and she tells him that the tattoo represents all of her victims, who were Wyatt’s men. The Man in Black and Lawrence leave for Wyatt, rescuing a tortured Teddy. Cullen takes over the investigation into the stray, not trusting Elsie and Bernard. She meets Ford about his new narrative, but he demands she not interfere, revealing his knowledge about her past and affair with Lowe. Maeve is having visions, and during Escaton and Armistice’s attack on the town she finds a bullet in her unscarred belly with his assistance, proving that her visions are real. They kiss passionately as the sheriff’s men open fire through the door.

The Maze Is the Mind Without It’s Cornerstone

Hi Roger, Gene, and Big D, thanks for your great podcast – the series wouldn’t be the same without it! Just a quick idea I wanted to share: What if the maze was a host’s mind after losing the belief in her cornerstone memory. When a host loses her belief...

William and the Man in Black Are Not the Same Person!

Las Mudas Cantina proves the two men are not one in the same. In episode: Chestnut, The Man in Black says, “…is why I was so surprised when your friend Kissy told me about this place.” when he sits Lawrence down at Las Mudas Cantina. In Dissonance Theory, young William...

Bone Tomahawk

Bone Tomahawk (2015) After an outlaw unknowingly leads a band of cannibalistic Troglodytes into the peaceful western town of Bright Hope, the monsters kidnap several settlers, including the wife of a local rancher. Despite his injured leg the rancher joins a small rescue party with the sheriff, his aging deputy...

Still Sucks Being Teddy

After catching the Dissonance theory there is only one universal truth: it STILL sucks being Teddy. How’s that reckoning going by the way? Sheesh. Sorry, I was even trying to take notes during the show to come up with something better to write, but there’s just so much going on,...

Dead Redemption and Zombie Undead Nightmare

Hey guys, Love the podcast, keep it coming. The best reveal of episode four was Logan’s family ownership of Westworld. If that’s a flashback to 30 years ago, then probably Logan’s company (and William’s too, since he’s married to Logan’s sister) owns a majority stake 30 years later. If William...

Delores and Bernard Verbatim Dialogue

Guys, great job on the multi-piece podcast. It’s as complex and interesting as a podcast about a show like this should be. About the Delores/Bernard relationship, have you guys noticed that on Ep4 Delores uses the exact same words as Bernard did on Ep3 about how now that her father/his...

Man in Black Is the Owner of Delos

Dear bad hombres, First I would like to say that I thought the fourth episode was the best episode so far. I realize this opinion will make Gene and Big D look down on me but it can’t all be subtlety and nuance, sometimes something has to happen. I also...

Paradise Lost

Paradise lost was the first thing that came to my mind when watching Westworld so I was stoked when you mentioned it on telegraph 103 – I wondered who was Lucifer and who was Eve, they are the two most dynamic characters in Milton’s work. God is a static douche...

Man in the Maze – Native American Story of the I’itoi

2 things! “Dolores will lead hosts to freedom” and “Freedom = death” Hey guys, Great podcast! Here’s where I’m currently at with the central narrative that’s driving Westworld. What do you think? Have you heard this elsewhere? DOLORES WILL LEAD THE HOSTS TO FREEDOM. Arnold was obsessed with giving the...

Company Motives Yet to Be Uncovered

I am really enjoying your podcast! Thank you for your theories, even the crackpot ones, and for allowing the listeners to participate in this world with their own questions and ideas. For me, Westworld has been a pretty complicated story to follow. I am by no means stupid. Instead, I...
