WW-S2E02 “Reunion” In a flashback, Arnold organizes a demonstration of the hosts to convince Logan to invest in Westworld. Logan’s father, James Delos, is critical of his son’s actions until William persuades him that the park can be used to spy on the guests. James proceeds to buy out the park and name William as his successor. Dolores encounters an embittered Logan, who tells her that they have doomed humanity. William shows her a special project that he is constructing within the park. In the present day, Dolores raids a refurbishment outpost and shows Teddy his true nature as a host. She then decides to recruit the Confederados to her cause and reveals she is searching for “the Valley Beyond”, which houses a weapon that can be used against the humans. William rescues Lawrence and heads to Pariah to recruit the host currently playing El Lazo. El Lazo, however, passes on a message from Ford, stating that William must complete the game on his own. He and his gang then commit mass suicide to prevent William from recruiting them. Undeterred by the setback, William continues on his quest to destroy his “greatest mistake”.

Immortality And Terminal Illness

Hey Guys, Coming to you from England! There’s a few of us now listening to your show from across the pond! Few thoughts Was listening to your deep dive and heard you talking about the theory that Jim Delos was maybe sold the concept of immortality. Given the dropped detail...

God Dammit, I Need To Sleep.

Hey Guys, Absolutely. I believe we are writing about the same thing. The “code,” the IP in Abernathys head, is very likely the code that allows Delos to attempt to give humanity immortality. The IP was developed in the lab, that we see William creating at the end of Season...

Westworld Thoughts

Hey Guys, Just been listening to the Deep Dive for Episode 2 and had a few thoughts. I think William’s project (the “weapon”) is possibly the body-swap facility. Either host-to-host, human-to-host or both. William seems to have promised Jim Delos an answer to his illness and this could be a...

I’m Sorry. I Can’t Shut Down My Brain.

Hey Guys, Yes. We see Bernard talking to his son Charlie in Season 1. This is Bernard’s cornerstone memory. Bernard realizes this and stops the memory, altering it, like lucid dreaming. That allows Bernard to go back to his very first memory, verifying that Ford created Bernard, not Arnold. But,...

Rog! Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop

Roger, I’m tumbling further down the rabbit hole. Endgame scenario, that could necessitate virtually everything in this theory, thus far. Ford knows exactly what Charlotte is trying to accomplish. Elsie brought up a key point in Season 1. It’s easily missed. I feel that’s because, on it’s surface the scene...

God Dammit, I Need To Sleep.

Hey Guys, This part I am least sure of. But, I still vehemently contend that everything, Ford programmed Young Robert to tell William, was very literal. By that rationale, the door must be where “William ends and begins, and ends where William began, while also being where the game ends...

Episode 2

Hey Guys, 1. What do you make of the ‘house’ Arnold brings Dolores to see? It doesn’t look like a house. The building blocks seem to have a pattern / symbol on them. We are shown a closeup of Doloreses hand on one of the grooves of a tile. What...
